Courier Express was founded in 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia, with a focus on providing timely, dependable courier service. In July 1990, William "Bill" Messerly acquired ownership. Bill and his sons, Jack and Jim, quickly established a clear, unified vision for the company: to provide superior service at a fair market price. That simple formula, along with a carefully planned expansion and the ability to build on each success, has spurred steady growth. Today, Courier Express is one of the largest courier companies in the nation.
